I'm an aspiring reporter currently working as a web producer at WHDH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Boston. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012 with a degree in journalism and political science minor. Throughout college I was heavily involved at my university's TV station, wearing many hats, including news producer and news director. During college I also interned at the national Fox News in New York City, assisting in the daily production of the show FoxNews.com Live. I also served as a student correspondent for the Boston Globe, embedding myself in the areas hardest hit by the 2011 Western Mass. tornadoes. As an interviewer, writer, shooter and editor, I chronicled residents' struggle to recover after losing homes and loved ones.
I'm a self starter with a strong work ethic, fully capable of working as a one man band. I've always wanted to be a reporter to tell stories, shine light on important issues and keep the public informed. I'm eager and excited to take the next step in this field and explore new parts of the country. I truly believe that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life!
