As part of my senior investigative journalism course, I reported on the tornado recovery in Western Massachusetts in collaboration with The Boston Globe for nine months. I interviewed Gov. Deval Patrick, worked closely with Globe editors to pitch and produce projects, and traveled to the affected areas most weekends to interview victims. I wrote articles and produced packages to cover current events, while simultaneously producing longer form videos as final projects. The articles I wrote for Boston.com are below and can be viewed on the After The Storm blog.
